The SUPPORT Language!

One of the foremost reasons why we are still struggling as a nation and as a people is because we have killed the language of SUPPORT. Once upon a time, we lent helping hands to our people, we aligned with visions and individuals we believe in. Why have things so badly changed? These days, each person wants to do his own thing. Everybody wants to be a visionary. We strive to outshine ourselves. The whole theory of ‘FAMILY’ is gradually fading. Governments no longer continue policies of previous regimes... Everybody wants to pioneer something!

Friend, success doesn’t always tilt in the direction of pioneers. The foremost principle of success is “WHATSOEVER YOUR HAND FINDETH TO DO, DO IT WELL.” It is not a rule to be a pioneer! We must learn to partner with people. It may be on a project, an idea, a business... Support! Don’t rebel a good idea. Many individuals are struggling through life mainly because of pride and poor appreciation of partnership!

The reason we keep experiencing small successes is because every one of us seems to be on a one-man-riot. In Nigeria, you find so many retarded small businesses, despite the time and resources invested in it. I believe the story would have been very different if some of these small business owners get together to build a bigger and better corporation. Partnership!

If we must succeed as a people, we must not allow our ego devour our sense of reasoning. We will achieve more and become better persons if only we appreciate the gains of partnership.

“One will chase a thousand...two shall put ten thousand to flight...”
