FACE YOUR FIGHT:

There are individuals who have committed suicide because things weren’t working for them, as they wished. They couldn’t just understand why you have to fight your way through life, they just couldn’t. The easiest form of escape for them was to die. Life never honours quitters, never!

There was a time in my life when I blamed other people for my woes and failures. I blamed just about everything. It was always somebody else’s fault, but mine. I blamed my parents, government, friends and environment...

The more I did this, the more I failed, until it day dawned on me that I needed to wake up and LIVE my life.

Most people even blame God for their challenges and the brick walls they face. I think it’s high time we accept that your destiny is not even God’s responsibility. Everything that will make you what you dream about is already available... The Holy Books emphatically says: “Whatever you imagine [think, desire and determine] to do, nothing will be restrained [impossible or withheld] from you...

Dear friends, it is high time we sit up and face life with utmost seriousness and passion it deserves. It is never too late to do what’s right.

Our destiny is our responsibility. God’s responsibility is to reward us for fulfilling our responsibility. After creation, the ball was dropped in our court, the fight is now our fight, let’s make our dreams happen. If anything must work, it is up to us. Life is not magic, neither is a successful life.

Even miracles have processes and procedures; there is always someone that does all the behind-the-scene works. There is no free lunch anywhere! If you will ever get to the mountain top you must climb there – nothing happens by chance.

We all have individual responsibilities that we need to stand up to. Your life is your responsibility. Just as we’ve got unique finger prints, we’ve got unique responsibilities and assignments. Nobody will help you fulfil yours because they equally have got theirs. Stand up and face it! Quit the complaining and brooding; start doing the little you can, steadily. It is said that: “slow and steady wins the race...”

Someone once said: “if your dreams must come to reality, you must wake up....” Responsibilities are meant to be executed – execute yours, today! Start from where you, with whatever you have and the Creator will set other forces in your direction to guarantee you have a great end.

Everything is created from something. Something doesn’t come from nothing. To be famous, comfortable and relevant in this world, you must identify your gifts, your skills and your talents – trade it and use it!

You are created for profit. While I believe in planning, strategy and tactic, I equally believe we must know when to step out from planning to doing. There are people who plan all their life, without ever taking actions. An African parable says: “if a man spends all his life planning how to run mad when will he eventually run mad?”

We waste when we wait; waiting is wasting! Do something about your dream, today! Draw counsel from the inspiration provided in the Holy book that says: “the path of a just man is like a shining light, it keeps getting brighter until the perfect day...” This makes me understand that it is when we dare that our path becomes brighter. You will never see brightly until you set out. Life is like a staircase, you never know what lies ahead of the stairs until you climb. Success awaits daring.

Get into the ring and happen!
